We have here my first post as an author here on the site, and a super hot track for all the TFK fans out there! Even Mr. Pete Tong added this track ‘Break The Bomb’ to his essential mix at peak time! Although you can buy this track on Beatport, Ill Phil has been kind enough to us to let us post it in full 320 form here @ TFK. Respect to Kenny Dope but this mix is sick.

You are going to need sixteen and a half minutes, some big speakers, and a 40 please. This mix was made for Mary Anne Hobbes on BBC Radio 1, but it was too good to let die there. It's chock full of their tunes & some layered acapellas that will make you want to wave that 40 and worship the sun. Oh happy day, future bass music.

Our first Dubstep mix, this one is a half and half. The first twenty-seven or so minutes you get a mix from Hecca. Next up Max Power. I'm pretty new to the Dubstep realm myself so it's hard to get into too much technical detail, but this mix is solid throughout. Mind warping bass in your face from front to back, it's unrelenting... in a good way!

It's about time for a tech house fix innit? This mix does not disappoint. Curtis Porter has that smooth mixing style I love, and he is very versatile. He can seamlessly weave a tapestry of sounds, then just sneak up on you and drop a bomb. He has the tools in his shed and he is not afraid to use them people. Everybody give it up for good DJs!

We've been marching around Los Angeles making noise, and many other people around the nation have done the same. It's time to dance to some great music, and donate to support the legal organizations working to invalidate Proposition 8 and to fund grass-roots activities in support of full marriage equality. This may be the last great civil rights battle of our time, stand up for what's right!

The second mix in the series, and we have another instant classic. Pat Benolkin is literally one of the best DJs I know, and not to get all high and mighty... but that is saying something! Always a bastion of good taste Pat takes us on a journey into the deep. His selections speak louder with every transition...

Better late than never right? This mix was recorded live at a TFK hosted event in Boise ID, December 2007. Babylon was packed and Max Power stole the show with this eclectic blend of bangers, and that rad faux mullet. This set is peak hour Rob live from Babylon. He recently relocated so Portland let him know where the party at...

Special thanks to Mr. Cantrelle for letting me share this mix. It is from a stacked night at Avaland, October 20, 2007. Coby One and I went to Hollywood to see Modeselektor. Sander Kleinenberg, Adam Beyer & Trent Cantrelle were there to round it out. Not a terrible lineup...

Our first international DJ to grace the pages of TFK, I couldn’t have imagined it better. I first heard her on Radio 1 almost a year ago now, and have been following her music since. I was very excited to get a mix from her for TFK, and the interview was icing on the cake.

Our first international DJ to grace the pages of TFK, I couldn't have imagined it better. I first heard her on Radio 1 almost a year ago now, and have been following her music since. Any electronic music lover knows it all comes back to one thing, and she has it... Infallible taste.
