<itunes:subtitle>This mix was recorded in the summer of 2005. This was just a few months into my digital foray and I was having a great time revisiting genres I hadn't for some time. <itunes:summary>I figured I should get all my mixes up here, why not. This mix was recorded in the summer of 2005. This was just a few months into my digital foray and I was having a great time revisiting genres I hadn't for some time. That's one of the best things about digital music, it's cheap so you can buy a lot. Hear that kids, buy... buy the music. Anyway, this mix was done just before I moved to Arizona. I had turned my attention to the future already, and hoped this would serve as a calling card for Phoenix promoters. I had no idea school was going to take up all of my time, and I would never really connect with the scene there. Somehow I did end up with a Friday residency at a fun bar, and a whole bunch of knowledge about audio. Until this point I had spent my entire career as a DJ as a Boise resident. Though I had traveled, I knew it was the beginning of new friendships and connections. The title is both a nod to computer nerds everywhere, and me introducing myself to the great unknown.

This mix was burned to 100 CDs, and as far as I know it has never been online, so you most likely haven't heard it yet. I just listened again and it's very smooth, and can be deceptive (yes gentlemen, wear a cup). Exploring some deep house at the onset with tracks that still get play in my crate, it's not too long before we get down to business.

This mix goes from deep, to dirty, acid jack, and then back. At least that's what I hear. I realize my description is useless for 98% of the population, but the other two are smiling. A very subtle banger here. Get you some.

Tracklist is coming... Swear

<itunes:summary>Well here's the first mix we've posted by this west coast house phenom, Jen Woolfe is an amazing DJ (and woman for that matter). I met her last year at Esthetic (http://www.estheticevolution.com), and instantly knew she was something special. She keeps it very funky for this mix, taking us through the paces with some perverted tech house out front to get your attention. Smart move! After a few nice bass heavy floor fillers she goes a little deeper keeping in line with those SF tendencies. She manages to navigate through a number of sub-genres and keeps it all together expertly. If you are in San Francisco be sure to look out for her, great music, great people!

Bio
Jen Woolfe (Dreemworld/SF)
Smooth-as-Silk Mixing with a Celestial Bassline - House, Nu Skool Breaks & Elegant Electro

Jen Woolfe began her DJ career in 2001, after realizing her favorite spot on the dance floor was two feet away from the DJ booth, watching the hands of every Deep and Tech House DJ to visit her hometown of Seattle. Soon after she picked up Deep Dish's Global Underground, she made the move to Progressive House, a genre that succumbs to her seductive style and intimate journeys.

Jen began to play for Seattle clubs in early 2003. She also began promotions for events of her own, making a name for herself in both the club and party scene. In 2005, she launched a the legendary After Hours monthly, Creme, at the Leschi Lounge . At the same time, Jen returned to her Alt-Rock roots by fusing Dance with House & Funky New School Breaks and tinting her style with elegant Electro.

Jen's versatility allows her to play any time of night at any venue, always served with style. Her desire to bring together diverse communities under one groove has helped her to be one of the most loved and devoted DJ's in Seattle.

Jen is currently an affiliate of Dreemworld (http://www.dreemworld.com). She has played at venues across the U.S., including Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, Reno, Las Vegas, Vancouver B.C., Boston, Boise, Chicago, Idaho Falls, Grand Junction CO and Black Rock City, NV. She has recently relocated to San Francisco, the city that first seduced her into her obsession for electronic music.
